This series is unlike anything typically found on television - it feels too good for the medium. The performances are delivered by truly skilled and professional actors, whose subtle sarcasm and sharp comedic timing elevate every scene. The small, witty conversations give the show a unique rhythm and charm, offering a refreshing twist on what could have been a static format.
Very few series manage to strike this kind of tone or leave such an impression. It's a real shame that it ended, as it had undeniable quality. I sincerely hope it gets a remake or a continuation on another platform. It genuinely deserved more.

I honestly don't understand the high ratings. This is just a mini-series where the writers loosely string together a few conversations inspired by certain books. It feels empty, disconnected from reality, and ultimately goes nowhere. There's neither a clear beginning nor a satisfying conclusion. It's painfully overrated and simply not worth the time.
It's obvious the creators aimed to simulate 'intellectual' dialogue by casting two well-known actors as Tuba Buyukustun and Halit Ergenç. Without them, this series would never have received the attention it's getting. The substance just isn't there.

This is a story, a news of every day... This is the true story of the terrorists PKK. Every day a husband, a son, a lover dies because of the terrorist PKK.
The only regret is that they didn't even mention the PKK in the movie. Surely that wasn't allowed by Netflix?
