I'm only few episodes in and it's already one of the most unbearable things I've tried to sit through. I kept hearing how Yellowstone was this epic, well-written drama well, no. It's a mess.
Let's start with Beth. She's supposed to be this brilliant "business genius" a fearless girlboss, a corporate shark. In reality? She's a caricature. Most of her lines sound like they were written by some Reddit mod trying to be edgy after three energy drinks. She's constantly swearing and acting tough in situations where she has ZERO leverage. The only reason anyone tolerates her nonsense is because her daddy is powerful. Without him, she'd be laughed out of every room she storms into. And every episode she does something outrageous and unnecessary as if "being loud and obnoxious" is her entire personality.
Then there's Rip. The man is basically a human golden retriever for John Dutton. No thoughts, no questions just blind loyalty. He follows John's every command like an obedient pet, no matter how morally bankrupt it is. And speaking of John Dutton... The show desperately wants you to believe he's a noble protector of Montana. In reality, he's a selfish, ruthless old man clinging to power and land, willing to destroy anyone who gets in his way. The idea that he "cares about the good of the people" is laughable.
Kaycee's wife? Don't expect much. She's either whining, judging...
And the writing.. it is bad. Scenes are thrown in with no context or setup, pacing is all over the place, and so many moments feel like filler just to stretch out the episode length. There's no flow, no nuance, just chaos.
I usually force myself to finish a show once I start it, but Yellowstone is making that impossible. The fact that this show has such a huge fanbase is genuinely mind-blowing to me. It's poorly written, badly acted, and exhausting to watch. Save yourself the pain.

I've been hooked on Silo from the very beginning. The world-building, the mystery, the constant sense of dread-it's exactly the kind of show that keeps me coming back for more. I couldn't wait for each new episode, always eager to see what secrets would be uncovered next. But season 2? Well... let's just say it took its sweet time getting anywhere.
The pacing this season was slow. Painfully slow at times. It felt like they dragged things out just to dump everything in the last episode, and while I love a good finale, it shouldn't have to carry an entire season on its back. And speaking of the ending... yeah, not great. It left me with more questions than answers, and not in a good "ooh, I can't wait to find out more" way-more like a "wait, that's it?" kind of way.
One thing Silo does really well, though, is making characters feel genuinely intimidating. I lost count of how many times I thought, "Yeah, I wouldn't last a day in this place." But while some actors absolutely nailed their roles, others... not so much. There were a few performances that felt flat or just didn't match the intensity of the story.
Even with its flaws, I'm still excited for the next season. Hopefully, we'll finally get some real answers about the history of the Silo and what's really going on. Just... maybe let's not cram all the action into the last episode this time?
