You might disagree with me here, but for me this was my favourite episode of the season thus far. I'm a sucker for character driven episodes, and these episodes have been lacking recently!
While this episode might not have been the absolute best of them, for me it was refreshing to see. Don't get me wrong, I really love the mindblowing sci-fi episodes (especially Total Rickall from s2), but I absolutely love the episodes where they develop the characters, and without spoiling anything this one includes moments where they really shine. Some viewers of this show may disagree and that's okay! To me this was truly an emotional episode, especially knowing the context of the show, and the meaning of some scenes and dialogue.
My personal favourite episode of the show is Auto Erotic Assimilation from s2, and this one might just be second in terms of character driven episodes (excluding the amazing sci-fi focused episodes).
