Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was a real blast! It's got everything for every Sonic game or Sonic fans in general. The characters are likable, the action and adventure is a lot of fun, the human story is okay but Jim Carrey is what made it stand out, the pop culture references are surprising, and the visual effects are amazing. I may not have seen the first one yet, but I will say that it might not be as incredible as this one.
What the hell have I watched today?! The Last Kiss, a film that were suppose to be a romantic comedy film, turns out to be a depressing and painful romantic drama, filled with despicably unlikable and mean-spirited characters with no development, no inspiration, thin plot, horrible writting, and painful message about relationships and how you could mess it up badly. Just for that, now I'm afraid of getting a girlfriend after witnessing the second half of the movie turned beautiful pregnant Jenna (Jacinda Barrett) into a heartbroken psychopath, explosively confronting Michael (Zach Braff aka Chicken Little) over his lies with a threat to kill him with the knife if he doesn't get out of her live ignoring Mike's apology because she's too filled with rage and hatred of how betrayed she felt about his cheating. They never got back together until the end credits which makes it even more unhappy. The romantic couple is awful, and the movie is filled with the most boring and unentertaining story. Rachel Bilson and Zach Braff should've ended up being the couple at the end instead after the over the top and heart crushing argument scene. This is by far, the WORST romantic comedy I have witnessed in my entire life!
The Cuphead Show is a welcoming love letter to the rubber-hosed retro style of animation from the golden age era. It's fun, it's wacky, old school like, the characters personalities and voices are interesting, and beautifully animated. The stories are fun and adventurous which I like, but the plot could probably do better in the later seasons. I'm hope they would pay more respect to the original cult-hit run and gun video game. So far, that type of element is missing. Minor flaw, but the show is still worthy to fun even for the fans of the game, and fans of the old-school animation since it's glory begin in the 1930's.
