First of all, I just wanna say that I haven't heard or played any of the games featured in this series, except for two of them. But the fact that I still had fun watching this shows that this can be enjoyed as a standalone work.
Indie Cross is an animated series featuring various indie game characters, and it's indeed a crossover made with passion. It can be slightly confusing if you don't know the backstory of the characters, and I admit there's some issues with pacing on the first episode. But it's still a good series filled with fun character dynamic, well-choreographed fight scenes, and typical YouTube writing but still fun humor.
It's not just simply different characters interacting with each other in different ways for the sake of fan service, but it also has a plot that will leave you craving for more on what's gonna happen next. You'll even find yourself liking the characters even if you haven't played the original games.
Overall, I appreciate MORØ for doing something very ambitious like this, and I definitely RECOMMEND this series for being one of the best things you'll find on YouTube. And it's even free.
Rating: 7.5/10.

The AvA/AvM universe has SO much potential left, and I'm glad this series explores a lot of ideas that weren't good or long enough for a full episode. Utilizing the YouTube shorts format, the stick gang returns with slice-of-life moments ranging from Minecraft adventures to the original Animator vs. Animation series.
Due to it having more freedom and also being produced quickly on a (formerly) weekly basis, there are definitely some weak shorts with poor or too basic concepts. But most of it is fun however, with really fun ideas and even fan service moments. The animation quality is also on-par with the original series, so it's not a problem.
Definitely watch these if you can't get enough of Alan Becker's content.

From the man behind Animator vs. Animation, this is one of the greatest animations you'll find on YouTube. It starts off as just simple adventures of stick figures playing with Minecraft on a two-dimensional Windows desktop, but as the series progresses, it gets deeper and intense.
It's full of fun slapstick moments, well-animated action scenes, interesting plots, good soundtrack, and somehow, really emotional moments that you wouldn't expect from a fun series like this. And it manages to do that without using faces or dialogue, which gets rid of the language barrier.
Overall I recommend this to people who likes Minecraft, it executes a lot of concepts really well.
