Sad, depressing, downright miserable, but weirdly wholesome?? It's quite rare for me to feel a whole range of emotions for a show that is not even that lengthy but still packs a huge punch.

Original Sin has an interesting story where we see this protagonist in a 'fish out of water' situation get pulled into the lives of individuals who are not really living a good life.

And after watching that first episode, I was instantly hooked. A story such as this is unique because it blends darker themes and elements with a protagonist who is whole-hearted, cheerful and tries to make the best out of a situation.

And it also helped to learn a lot about the characters that Takopi tries to help. We have three characters who experience trauma but in different ways and I like how all of their stories sort of interconnect with one another, creating a much more intense atmosphere.

This is a show that's unforgiving, doesn't really ease you in, and forces you to be submerged in a world filled with pain and suffering. It's a tough watch but it's worth the time.

It isn't that much of a surprise that this season has been quite divisive amongst people. It doesn't have the dramatic flare and excitement as the first season nor does it offer the best games.

It does get to a point where you wonder where is this going and what's it gonna lead to and to be honest, you won't really get those answers.

It's an ending that is more in line with the whole idea of Squid Game. A commentary about poor vs rich and capitalistic ideologies. Season's 2 ending crushed any hope that Gi-Hun had and because of that, he became a totally different person.

Mostly all the characters besides the greed obsessed ones have virtually given up all hope and that's really what was the mindset of this entire season. They lost and the games keep on going.

This finale is what defines Severance as a show. The mystery, the intrigue, the weirdness of it is all showcased within this episode. The season brought a lot of weight that carried over to the finale and in turn, it greatly delivered.

Some questions get answered but more importantly a reunion that is short lived because of a decision that begs an important question about existence. It's these culmination of questions that have led these characters to think otherwise, to think that there is more to this severed life.

The episode may seem like it's all over the place but in the end everything is connected or drawn by the ideologies the show presents.
