Where should i start? Ever since Hayliey made an impact with the legendary phrase "Hawk Tuah",things were never the same. As soon as she announced her podcast "talk tuah" i was looking EVERYWHERE for news, i couldn't wait for it to come out, I almost had a heart attack but when it did,the world stopped... it was something else. A masterpiece, many comedic phrases and moments that have plenty of philosophy and thoughts woven into them that you actually need an intellectual kind of brain to understand the meaning of all this, hayliey and whitney cummings make an inseperable duo that at times, it reminds me of the famous painting of Raphael Sanzio, The School of Athens seeing them sit down and analyze things. They also do a profound job at analyzing important topics in the world. Im a "hawk tuer" too and whenever someone says anything bad about my goddess i gotta say, Hawk Tuah and spit on them thangs😂😂.
Damn, where can i begin, Clint Eastwood gives a great performance in this drama, it follows the story of a korean war veteran and the movie focuses on the character development of Clints character, Walt Kowalski who from a bitter, racist and grumpy old man turns to a more wholesome and accepting person, a very well written character who you can understand his actions the more you watch this movie, why he chose to help the hmong family, his bitterness and his aggressiveness, there's not a single boring moment in the film from beginning to end, acting is very good, clint Eastwoods conversations with any secondary characters feels very natural, it's not only a movie about how dumb racism is but also a movie about a man who makes amends with his wrongdoings and mistakes, i highly recommend this movie to everyone, it has a little bit of everything, drama, some comedy and action.
The movie follows the plot of a secret agent who joins the yakuza, there's barely any filler in the whole film, it is a little ober 2 hours and there is so much happening during that time that at some point it feels like a different movie. Cinematography was pretty nice and the acting was decent. The movie does require your attention to understand the film with how fast paced and how filled to brim it is with characters. The action sequences were very nice, reminded me of a more realistic John wick and they are not dependant on quick cuts and shaky cams. I liked plenty of things about this movie, my only complaint would be that this movie is so fast paced that it feels like it could be better as a series. At times i couldn't understand what was happening, other than that i recommend it to anyone who wants to see a nice film about the yakuza.
