SO much more nuanced. Still a villain, very much a monster, but so much more complex and interesting in this iteration. Also love the chemistry between the trio, and how much more explicit the show is in showing how dickish the gods are and how much most of the series' issues come because the gods are neglectful asses. Not very fond of two things - the blackout cuts. I have no idea why they even have them in a streaming show. And the monster fight sequences are kinda underwhelming, especially the furies. They die so easily.
The third episode is the best of the show so far, so hopefully the show maintains the quality.
