I've always respected James Gunn's dedication to finding original stories in concepts we've seen a million times. Superman is a fun movie that has a lot of heart and isn't afraid to shake up the formula. The action is entertaining, the romance is real, the villains are hate-able, and the heroics are highlighted in all the right ways. Gunn understands the core of Superman's character, and that's this movie's greatest strength. The casting for everyone in this movie was perfect and the comedy wasn't out of place like a lot of reviewers say it is. If extremely centrist political messages bother you then the international conflict that the film circles around might bother you. But if you're normal like most people you'll be able to see why it was included in this movie. The main message is hope, and in today's day and age, optimism/doing good is the new punk rock. Do yourself a favor, go to the cinema and see Superman. It's a really fun time.

Abbot Elementary episodes were overall disappointing to me. The episode in Abbot's run was significantly better than the It's Always Sunny one. I thought it was gonna be an episode of Abbot in the style of Sunny but it was just a TV-MA version of Abbot. Kinda disappointing 🤷‍♂️ some good/funny moments but a 6/10 overall. It would have been so much better to get a It's Always Sunny episode with Abbot characters but oh well 🤷‍♂️ There were some genuinely funny moments in here but the entire episode didn't gel together that well. I also have never liked the principle in abbot elementary and she's basically the main character here.
