I saw a clip from this movie a few days ago, and honestly, it felt like I was watching an AI-generated video-the movements and art style looked that unnatural. I get that it's just the beginning, but I was expecting better. I don't understand why they went with 3D. Sure, it's more budget-friendly and easier to produce, but 2D would've been a much better choice-especially since most Indian audiences already watch anime and are more used to that style.
All hype, no substance-that's what so many movies after the lockdown feel like. And honestly, I don't get the Indian audience. It's 2025, yet people are still impressed by some of the most mid movies ever made. It's sad to see the direction the Indian film industry is heading while movies, animation, and gaming industry from other countries flourishing worldwide and making a real mark. India, meanwhile, feels stuck in the past on almost every front.
These industries are worth billions, yet in India, especially in animation and gaming, barely anything groundbreaking is happening. Overhyping movies like this only sends the wrong message to producers who already prioritize quantity over quality. Churning out thousands of forgettable films isn't an achievement. The focus should be on creating fewer but truly great movies that can put India on the global map.
To me, almost every Indian movie feels the same now, and it's boring. Nothing will change unless the audience itself changes. As long as people blindly obsess over movies, celebrities, and even treating actors like gods, the industry will just keep serving the same recycled content. Everything has its time and place, but this blind worship is holding Indian cinema back.

It was slower than I usually like, but it pulled me in because of the participants. They were some of the best athletes I've seen-competitive yet respectful, showing genuine sportsmanship.
It's kind of ridiculous how many reviews keep comparing this to Physical 100. Yes, both shows feature athletes, but that doesn't mean they're the same. They have completely different challenges, rules, and approaches. If you don't want to try something new, just stick with what you like-there's no need to drag another show down.
Also, people seem to forget the bigger picture. This show probably had a smaller budget, but that might be intentional so more of the prize money goes to the winner. That money can genuinely help them start a second career after retirement. It's not just a competition show-it's meant to be more than that.
From an editing standpoint though, the pacing didn't work well. I understand it's a reality competition show and they want to keep things authentic, but it often felt uneven. That was my biggest issue.
I also wish the show were a bit longer, with more time dedicated to contestants bonding. There were glimpses of that, but not enough. The video call segments, while emotional, took too much time. It would feel more rewarding if contestants had to earn them by winning challenges.
As for the complaints I've seen from others: the show is about finding the best athlete, the one who can survive eliminations. The claims that women were at a disadvantage don't hold up-many women defeated men and advanced. In the end, the ones who didn't make it simply weren't strong enough. I truly believe several women had the potential to reach the finals.
And regarding the winner: Itoi absolutely deserved it. I don't understand the backlash. This isn't a scripted show-it's reality. The best athlete won, fair and square. If people only want a "deserving" winner based on personal preference, then they're watching the wrong kind of show.

All the hype while the show is pretty average I was really expecting something really good after all of the tiktoks it's seems to me people are getting less clever as the time passing on even the most mid things are being praised and awarded while its litrally the same thing told many times before but better.
I think the show got potential but they definitely needs to work on their pacing, characters and storytelling as some sequences and episodes are fine but other aren't. I didn't read the books which I will after this show
Spoilers I find it weird that Jin who is friend with vera she was in her room how she didn't saw her childhood pic how she didn't connected the dots that they used her child model in the game which she got connected to emotionally.
And the mass murder the people on the ship. I doesn't make sense to me why the come up with that decision it doesn't seem like they were armed all they had to do is keep close eye on them and arrest everyone on right moment. The could've easily destroyed the evidence by that method as they didn't knew what they were looking for. They could've sunk the ship in the cannel and shot down the helicopter instead of bs nano tech. Nano tech seems to be solution for most of the things nowadays.
Overall the show is pretty disappointing it leans on alot on the characters and most of the actors and the characters they are playing aren't that interesting.
