I don't understand the score on this one, I couldn't decide what was more cringy, the hint of the scene in Maid in Manhattan when she says: sometimes I choke when I'm in front of a lot of people or the zero chemistry between the two main protagonists or the fact that Jennifer agreed to do such a movie, does she have to do a movie so bad that she did this one? One thing for sure, she probably enjoyed playing an amplified version of her 'stardom'.

She keeps on going about how she can't believe this is her life, just because her husband is rich and famous and gets to do all these things, being a housewife is old news, what else you got?? She doesn't come off as genuine because she says he came to the store and she said to herself: what a handsome man, like you don't know that he is THE football player, come on !!! You work at a luxury store, if course you know who are the people who come into the store, she had a whole career in retail. And on the other hand she says she feels lucky that she gets to wear whatever she wants from this famous designer she's been dreaming about all her life. Girl come on, this is what you wanted, you knew exactly who that guy was, and you got what you wanted, don't try to come off as this naive cute girl.

Just tacky the whole thing, Flaunting wealth but no meaning to anything except the family, where is his family? Where do we see you take care of the family like you talk about.

I've read the reviews, the bad and the good, the bad reviews all said that the protagonist is very stupid, and makes stupid decision after another, and how that is not how life is, that is just not the case, this is exact what this story needs, because in real life, we regret decisions everyday, bad things happen, and you tell yourself: "God! How was I so stupid, why didn't I do this instead, how didn't I see that coming?" We can all relate to that feeling if it came to being betrayed, wasting money or time and especially domestic abuse. And the protagonist has that moment, when she falls back with her abuser, and she realized it was a bad decision, she breaks down and says: how could I be so stupid?
