I went into this movie thinking 'oh amazon are in on this it must be semi decent' oh boy was I wrong.

This goddamn movie just dragged on forever, I thought it would never end but I needed to get my money's worth out of it, so, I sat in agonising disbelief at what a car crash this film had turned out to be.

Encounter's plot had no meaning and the only reason it was sort of watchable was because the production and cinematography quality was that of Hollywood blockbuster movies, yes, it really did save the day it was so good.

Please please please though - Save yourself time and your money by not watching this wannabe Sci Fi movie.

Instead, buy some roses for your significant other; You will get more satisfaction out that purchase and so will they!

The documentary gives a very dramatic informative insight into the lifestyle of criminals in New Jersey and what they had to do in order to survive. It showed that once you get into a life of crime it is very difficult to get out of it regardless of your once normal life.

For someone who wasn't even born in the 80s or 90s; it's fascinating to see what life was like in New Jersey back then.

I recommend y'all watch this beautiful time capsule of a docu movie.

This movie is an amateur horror movie at best, it lacks any emotive passion for the genre as we have seen the same director convey in the conjuring series.

The characters are badly introduced and seem to just be there for the paycheque; additionally the plot is just laughable and lazy.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, James should have gone back to the drawing board with this horrifically bad attempt at a movie.

Please don't waste nearly 2 hours of your life like I did as well as money that I could have spent on a McDonald's instead and got more enjoyment from.

P. S I hate leaving bad reviews as James is a wonderful director as proven with the successful conjuring movies he's worked on. However I believe these critical reviews are needed in order for people to progress and understand how to go forward. I had really high hopes for the movie but they got shot down within the first 10 minutes watching this.
