I have enjoyed reading the Alex Cross series by James Patterson. As a fan of this character, when I heard the books were being turned into a series, I was worried that all the things I love about the books and characters would be ruined as the majority of film/tv series adaptations usually are.

I can say that my concerns were unfounded. Aldis Hodge is the perfect Alex Cross. Hodge possesses a commanding physical presence that is essential for the character, who is often depicted as both a brilliant thinker and a man who can hold his own in physical confrontations. This duality is crucial for portraying Cross authentically.

His performance reflects a deep understanding of the novels by James Patterson. He captures the essence of Cross's character as a brilliant detective driven by a strong sense of justice.

Just finished watching The Marvels and I can saw I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. After an endless stream of MCU projects since Infinity Stones, that just seemed like the director was trying to hit the same emotions that Marvel fans had during the OG avengers. This movie is not trying to win an Oscar, it is trying to entertain and it definitely did that. It kept my 4 and 6 year old, as well as my husband and I, fully engaged.

It was fun, it was at times silly, but it also had great action sequences. Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan was wonderfully portrayed and was the perfect counterpoint to the seriousness of Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau.

This is a movie that I would gladly watch again and I will definitely be purchasing when it is released.

I was a huge Grease fan growing up, I even watched Grease 2 way too many times. This origin story of the Pink Ladies was enjoyable and fun, exactly what the first Grease was.

The casting was so perfect and the songs and performances are amazing. I love how they used an original classic Grease song in the intro but added an updated spin to link the movie to the show. I'm a sucker for a choreographed dance number and the shows dances are fun, inventive and perfectly fit into the Grease universe.

This has found a home in my comfort viewing library and I will definitely be rewatching the first two episodes until the release of the third.
