There are very few movies in which there are 5 lead actors and each one of them has done such an amazing job that it is hard to pick a favourite!
Kumbalangi Nights is one such brilliant movie. It is an insanely brilliant ride filled with roller-coaster of emotions and drama.
Soubin Shahir has always been one of my favourite actors and I thought this is best performance in my books. Fahadh Faasil played the negative role to the T. I could never sense that it is Madhu C Narayanan's first directorial venture because he has directed a perfect movie. Even though the movie is filled with emotions of all different sorts, but it never went over the board.
I must write about the beautiful songs too; even though I couldn't understand a single word but the melodies were par excellence! What a beautiful OST!
Saji, Bonny, Bobby and Franky would always remain my favourite 4 siblings!
It is a definite must-watch for everyone; you would be missing the brilliance of Malayalam Cinema if you don't watch this film.

Yes! It is the best film from the Malayalam cinema industry. Always old is gold. Now I'm waiting for it's 4k release. Goddamn man. Only Mohanlal can deliver this movie with emotions, power packed dialogues, action scenes and finally great acting along with Thilakan Sir! One of the master class movies in Malayalam. Thank you Bhadran the director for this masterpiece. Ofcourse i miss the old mohanlal. IF A CINEMA IS TIMELESS THEN IT'S A MASTERPIECE. SPADIKAM IS SIMPLY A PERFECT FILM, THE MOST BRILLIANT QUALITY OF THIS IS IT'S CHARECTERISATION. Highly recommended for new watchers of Malayalam film.
Easily the best movie of the year 2022. It would not be exaggerating to say that this movie has extraordinary charm compared to any mass movies released this year.
Slow paced yet the movie gets into rhythm as the story progresses, all central characters have acted so well and justified their part. The lead actress has given commendable performance, I believe she deserves the award for it.
The real star of the movie is the actor, he acted so well throughout the movie and he showcased how good he can perform. His expressions and acting skills have added extra charm to story.
The real winner is of course the story, the way director has narrated, twisted and turned entire plot would keep you on edge throughout. You would laugh out loudly yet at same time you would want certain outcomes to happen.
Laugh, learn and respect women. Jaya!!
