Kept scrolling past this movie for a good while now, till one evening thought I'd give it a go with mumzy.

I'll be completely honest, if you can put aside realism to some extent then you'll love it. It's not exaggerated to the point like are you serious, but I would hope the military are a lot more competent than this.

Then again, the fights were realistic. A women going up against two trained men, they didn't make her have super strength like most of these movies do. It was well choreographed fight scenes. Brilliant actors who served the emotions well and I loved the main actress.

If you're looking for a decent movie to watch that isn't boring and has a good plot then watch it. It reminded me of White House Down and a Jennifer Lopez movie (can't remember the name).

Lovely Runner, the kdrama that awoke me from my slumber. I'll be honest I haven't been addicted to a kdrama since weightlifting fairy Kim book joo. With little gems released like 25 21, twinkling watermelon and true beauty. It was bringing back my faith in kdramas. The kdramas that had the 20th century feel (not referencing the sad ending 💀). One with all the sprinkles that screamed nostalgia. I have to give credit where it's due, the ML and FL as well as the whole cast were brilliantly chosen. The chemistry and acting was what was needed. Byeon Woo-Seok, our first ever carbon copy of MinMin (strong woman bong song ML) and Kim Hye-Yoon, Im Sol wouldn't exist without her. The storyline albeit quite similar to some dramas I have seen, really refined all the rough edges that was missing and they GAVE the fans what they wanted, whilst also pull us along at times (you're forgiven). I mean just go on TikTok and you'll see the amount of edits made of this show.

But if you're still not convinced to watch, think of the 25 21 details but without the sad ending, weightlifting fairy light heartedness, true beauty addiction and crash course in romance pull. If you have liked any of the ones I listed, you'll love this drama!

The cgi is brilliant but there's only so long you can go ignoring the terrible acting. When I saw who the lead actor was for the new adaption, I was slightly excited since his acting skills were good from previous movies such as the Adam Project. But I have to say, the acting seems slow and sub par. The storyline a little haste as if they were rushing viewers to get to the main part which was the camp. Overall, not very excited to continue but will due to liking the previous Percy Jackson movie and curious to see how the cgi for other creatures looks like.

I did like the relationship between the mum and Percy but I think they could have delved more into the high school part of Percy Jackson or at least not added too much and delved into slowly.
