  • As a honest one piece fan this was disapointing..

The plot, the themes, the fight, the emotional moments... everything was GARBAGE. I'm currently on my way to the surgery room to get my eyes REMOVED! My eardrums started bleeding the moment they played the intro. This is outrageous. I will no longer be quiet. Definitely one of the worst shonen series i've ever seen unfortunately. So to the dear One Piece fans, Goodbye. The whole episode was atrociously bad and it was a honest mistake to wake up this early just to watch this episode. As an honest unbiased fan since 1998, I have finally opened my eyes and realised just how small and insiginificant this banter show really is.

  • A Flawless Masterpiece.

Boruto is a series with entertaining narrative, amazingly real characters a complete and perfect score when it comes to action, and unparallelled messages.

Boruto fell prey to a widespread groupthink misinterpretation of what it was about. My guess is a lot of the audience just didn't expect to find much depth in a battle shonen, so they didn't think to look for any.

Boruto's has a great balance of plot driven narrative and character driven narrative, in a way the actions of characters are always related or going for the ultimate goal, while also helping the surrounding stories and plot develop, in a natural way. The story has great revelations, great inherent issues that need to be adressed, narrative points that are used multiple times in order to make a cohesive story, great buildups and setups thanks to the memories and tales, that are cleverly disperses throught the story of Boruto.

Plot of Boruto is a great way to explore and get the best of its fantastic worldbuilding while keeping the story focused and relevant, it all combines into a great plotline in which past and present events are linked by the brilliant strategists of the show. Multiple characters can get the spotlight, and at the same time all contribute to the same storys, the pacing ensures you to be familiarized with places and characters before learning everything about them or seeing them fight at their fullest, making a very unexpected but highly rewarding experience for the viewer.

Boruto is an excellent story of growth (characters starting as unimportant, irresponsible and highly flawed individuals then becoming relevant, useful and "perfected" versions of themselves through experiences), redemption (characters finding a way to make up for their past mistakes or deaths they carry), preservence (characters never giving up their fight, their morality, and their core values) and friendship (going to extreme lengths to sabe an ally from outside or inner darkness), a complex narrative set in a fictional but highly detailed world of interesting, compelling, relatable and very human characters with great and unique motivations, goals, ideologies and believeable backstories that define how they act, think, and behave, for better or worse. The chracters grow in multiple way with every arc and arew constantly maturing as people while also growing in experience and tactic as fighters. Boruto is an excellent show with a set of characters who are as interesting as the main protagonistm Boruto. He is perfectly flawed and human. Boruto is relatable, he shows all different types of emotions including pain and happiness. He also gets insecure and doubts his capabilities like the most of us. To be human is to have positive and negative qualities. He is just like most of the people in our generation, ignoring problems in our lives by playing video games, he cheats on exams, so he can make his parents proud, lives moderately not stupid rich or stupid broke, plays unpacking card games etc. Boruto addresses many issues in today's society (e.g. The right or wrong use of technology). Unlike Naruto, which focused on loneliness and how to overcome it, Boruto focuses on how to shake off the inheritance of one's own family.

Boruto is a great story with a relatable protagonist, its arcs graduall progress as the stakes get higher, the knowledge gets more vbast, and the characters evolve, resulting in a great plot escelation, that mixe beautifully the concepts of plot driven story and character driven story.

Boruto has perfectly fleshed out characters, incredible worldbuilding, great fights, flawless storyline and is the best newgen shonen. Boruto is the best newgen show out there, deep, emotional, interesting clever and funny, a complete story with great enigmas in ever amazing world. Just how amazingly relatable the backstories are the expertise in how Kishimoto builds empathy for his characters is second to none. The exploration of the past is excellentand you become invested in the past just as much as you do with present events. Masashi Kishimoto is a narrative genius able to conceptualize and create multiple characters that are as complete and complex as real people. He was also able to create a world from his imagination and provide it with the issues of teh real world while also having supernatural elements that made the story richer by providing issues that the real world couldn't have, therefore setting apart his world in a positive way. He gave an incredible attenton to detail to his world, characters, fights and narrative, and the result is a complete tale that is enjoyable from tstart to finish. Kishimotos and Kodaichi's narrative is very rich, in characters that are understandable, relatable and developed, a very detailed world that sets itself apart from the real world while also evoking social phenomenons that are present in the real world. Worldbuilding of Boruto is absolutely flawless, an Universe that contains its defined social system, economical and geographical system, and numerous great locations. It showcases the effects of wars; at the first few episodes, the anime showed to us the Konohagakure progressed with the installation of new transport systems (trains and aircrafts). However, this was not the case for small villages like the Hidden Rain. In reality, big nations like Konohagakure has the resources to start again. Small villages who have a sort of become "collateral damages" to the wars between big nations will have a harder time to cope up. Konohagakure's rather democratic system in which kids are given equal oppurtunities to prove their worth, as opposed to Konoha's system of clan repuitation and past generations' deeds. Characters in Boruto are distinctively deep, complex, relatable and understandable. Their epth lies in their reaction and conclusions regarding their own past experiences, the way they took them and built a philosophy of their own from them. They are complex because they don't fall under a single stereotype, they can't be flatly clustered under two or three keywords, instead they are a balance of multiple character traits that make them more unique, their complex minds are often explored and explained by dialogues or thoughts (like Mitsuki,Boruto, and Kawaki) They are relatable because some of their struggles are similar nature to struggles that normal people face at some point in their lives, and the reader will easily identify with ones character's story or struggle in particular (Boruto,Kawaki,Sarada,Sumire,Metal Lee, etc.) Characters in Boruto are understandably because by explaining us their story, we get to see the reason they would go to extreme lengths to achieve their goal -> ((For example; Mitsuki. Mitsuki in many ways is like a new born baby. He has no real sense of self. This comes from his lack of memories and a lack of a strong role model in his upbringing for reasons we know. In developmental psychology they put a lot of emphasis on bonding, and particularly bonding with the primary caregiver. Typically with a real new born this caregiver is the mother, but sometimes it can be the father or a grand parent or whatever, and really these types of bonds effect babies in a variety of ways and there are so many different theories about the effects specifics. Boruto is Mitsuki's primary caregiver. Mitsuki watches what Boruto does, listens to Boruto, follows Boruto, because he doesn't know what else to do, but this isn't cause Mitsuki isn't free persay, Mitsuki's episode was all about him choosing who he wants to be himself, he chose Boruto and reserves the right to go somewhere else, to find another sun, if he doesn't like what he sees. Mitsuki is watching Boruto and doesn't always agree with him, he is gently ribbing boruto and agreeing with Sarada a lot. Mitsuki watches Boruto and likes spending time with Boruto and is constantly in the process of forming a sense of self out of Boruto and his bonds with Boruto. We all do this with our parents, Mitsuki just is doing it with Boruto because Orochimaru made him believe that Orochimaru is a bad role model. Mitsuki is forging his identity, finding himself, while watching Boruto, and I don't think there's an issue there cause he chose boruto. He could choose anyone, he choose Boruto. This is just my thoughts about him, didn't really look into his character tbh)). Boruto has a work of art of narrative (with clever turns, moments of suspense, sadness, joy, defeat, victory, turns and surprises), worldbuilding (full of diverse, clever and sophisticated elements that form a distinctive and complex logic that reigns its unverse, and multiple nations with individual and remarkably different features taht set them apart in more than one way) chracters (relatable but special, understandable, with great development, inherent inner conflicts and good evlolution), combat system (little bit complex but with logic, very varied and balanced), The fights in Boruto are amazing, complete and epic and epic encounters that mek use of multiple aspects in order to ensure a conflict is more than a slugfest, is battle of mind and spirit, where multiple conditions must be taken into consideration, characters often outsmart enemies instead of overpowering them, and they make use of landscape elements or past atacks to get an advantage. Worldbuilding in Boruto is outstandingly good, the story visits the places it needs to, it doesn't stretch the plot into including big arcs for every place its world has to offer. The worldbuilding is how cohesive and complete your world is, not how far characters go. The worldbuilding in Boruto shines through the details, through the explanations of the wars, through subtle visuals, fighting styles, character designs, etc.

Anime did a fantastic job, Borushiki was perfectly executed, everything was just perfect.

They made Kurama and Naruto's conversation soo emotional, watching all those flashbacks really made me tear up.
