I watched the first three episodes with the appropriate attention, but I'm now on the fifth and my mind is wandering and I'm not entirely sure what's going on. Not a particularly good sign.
There is little in the way of characterisation and the protagonists/antagonists just sort of blend into one. You get to the point where you keep checking how long is left on each episode, willing it to end. If there's any doubt, I'm not a fan.
A really good story keeps your attention, you can't wait to see how it ends. I don't really care what happens, I'm going to turn it off now. To paraphrase the great Barry Norman, I may be wrong, I have been before.

Judging the reviews on here, evidently this is a very polarising movie. I have to say I really enjoyed it, although clearly not to everybody's taste.
It is a slow burn, nothing really reveals itself in the typical apocalyptic fashion. The viewer only has visibility of what the characters see and understand. I found this quite refreshing, if there was such and event, without internet or TV, who could really understand what's going on? This added to the eeriness and upped the tension.
I recommend the film, I watched it last night and I am still thinking about it. That's what a good movie is all about right?
Give it a go.
