Loved 1 and 3 for different reasons. 1 was awkward and 3 was escalatingly tense.
2 was a bit too focused on sex, and Tanya story arc was just bizarre. It felt forced or rushed as if they didn't really have any idea how to make it interesting or wrap it up. Still fun to watch. Best location out of 3 imo.

I don't care about early bot/paid/shill 10/10 reviews.
I'm a big Alien fan. An old school Alien fan. Watched the first 3 don't know how many times. Play Alien Isolation every year since it came out. Read all three books (did you know there are Alien books based on 3 movies? And they're absolutely awesome? Well now you do) Have dreams about Aliens. I love Aliens.
This however.. I don't know what this is. I appreciate them trying to keep Alien universe alive but noone so far has succeeded, really. I didn't care for everything that was released after A-3. None captured the real magic of the original 80's feel.
These producers don't seem to understand what made Alien movies great. It's the atmosphere. Claustrophobia. Human factor. Limited resources to fight. Limited pathways to escape. The dread. The grit. The lack of TikTok influence.
This show has none of it. There's no proper build up, no tension, no horror, nothing.
It's some generic Prometeus nonsense/ meets utopian "team of Fantastic Four" superhero cyborgs who can act all cool all the time and who will probably (I don't know, I assume) will save the planet. Or keep saving it if this gets renewed.
I was bored the whole time. I was relived by commercial breaks, tbh. If it wasn't Alien-related show I'd give up 100 times by the time I finished watching. I kept checking time wishing it to be over.
The throwbacks to old Aliens, blinking computers and interiors of the ship and that horn chord music felt completely out place like a burger on a sushi plate in a Japanese restaurant.
Everything I see so far is disjointed, boring, unimaginative, generic and confused in identity. A definition of a typical AI vomit.
I definitely don't care when they will release the next episodes.

5 reviews for this in 5 years? Well, here comes the 6th!
There's gotta a be genre of straight-to-streaming animation flicks like this.
Everything about it is generic and cliche'd to the T. The whole theme of the movie, the interractions, the "funny" characters, the way they act, the tired "funny moments". So unimaginative. Everything is tired, derivative, unoriginal and falls flat. Even the environments are not original either, seen at least in a dozen other animation movies. I'd say only "nestrians" species were original and very cute. If this was made in 2025 I'd say it was made entirely by AI. This is where you see the B-grade-ness of it. Very poor unimaginative script, poor progression, poor character development, poor "trouble" and poor "solutions".
The beginning was quite promising, but the middle one hour of it was bland and boring and not going anywhere, the short ending was kind of ok but didn't really save this wreck, it also seemed lost at building tension or any kind of moment.
The whole movie basically flopped helplessly like a fish on a beach sand.
It's everything you've seen 1000 times before. Worst yet, it's just not interesting. My kid got bored to it in the long 2nd act and we barely made it to the end.
