Since every other episode in the season essentially offered just clipshow level plot engagement, this episode was a wonderful contrast. Finally, things are happening and with the utmost intensity. Really action packed, great episode.
Again, it severely bothers me that you could take the actual plot developing moments from each episode, and that would only equal in minutes/seconds the size of one episode. So there was basically only two episodes of material in this season.
If every episode was built like this one, the show would be nearly flawless. As it stands, the show clearly milked its ending. It really would've been far, far better as a whole, if the show finished more quickly and didn't sacrifice episodes to milking far more money, like this season does clearly. Waters down the entire quality of the art and I don't respect it, at all.
That said, this episode was great.

You know that Dragonball Z episode where the entire cast played baseball together? An episode presumably created in between actually viable story arcs for the series, just had the characters in a feel-good setting where, in each episode, the stakes were extremely low and not much was happening.
That's what Demon Slayer did here. The one problem is, the DBZ baseball instance was one episode. ONE. Demon Slayer season 4 was basically 7 episodes of baseball time.
The amount of actual stuff happening would've better been covered in 2 episodes. With this, it comes across as the most exquisite milking of a series I've ever experienced. They apparently care far more about the money made on the series than the fact that one of their seasons proved to be absolutely terrible comparatively.
Sure, the characters are the cute, lovable figures we've grown accustomed to, and the aesthetic is still there, but the episodes are LARGELY empty. It's clipshow level engagement. Except clipshows generally only take up one episode, while Demon Slayer thought it permissible to develop an entire season of clipshows to have the series continue.
Absolutely shameless, and a shot against the actual value of the entire show due to it having an entire season you can essentially just skip. Not respectable.
