Just watched Kaliyugam, and honestly, it was a letdown. The concept had potential, but the execution just didn't work for me. The pacing was painfully slow, and by the time something interesting happened, I had already lost interest.
The movie tries really hard to feel deep and meaningful, but it ends up being mostly style over substance. The world-building looks nice, sure, but there's barely any emotional connection with the characters. Even Shraddha Srinath, as good as she usually is, felt wasted in a script that didn't give her much to work with.
It's one of those films that wants to say something important but never really gets there. You walk out feeling like you waited two hours for a point that never came. If you're looking for something engaging or impactful, this isn't it.
