It is a dark comedy that tackles race, identity, and the chaos of urban India through the eyes of Michael Okeke (Samuel Abiola Robinson), a Nigerian MBA student trying to survive-and belong-in Delhi.
Really enjoyed watching Dilli Dark. It's been a while since I've seen a good indie film, and this one definitely stood out. It is a daring and thought-provoking film that shines a light on the complexities of race and identity in urban India.
Amazing acting by the lead and tertiary casts.
The biggest strengths lies in its cinematography and sound design. The camera doesn't romanticize Delhi-it captures it in its most authentic, chaotic, and gritty form. There's no artificial gloss, no filtered nostalgia. The sound design complements this perfectly.
It reminded me a lot of Delhi Belly with its edgy vibe and sharp storytelling.
A must watch film !!
