The 1979 Mad Max isn't for everyone. It's a slow-paced story that introduces the characters at their own pace, but toward the end, the experience becomes perfect with the gratification of revenge. The film's script is simple and predictable, but it's perfectly crafted-a simple well-crafted one, with Mel Gibson showing what would become and the beginnings of a great director in George Miller. In short, Mad Max isn't for everyone, and despite its simple script, it's perfectly crafted.
I expected an action movie with no script and just striking scenes and a fun experience, but what they delivered was a movie that wanted to present a null script and Guy Ritchie imitating Quentin Tarantino and Inglourious Basterds (my favorite movie) with a weak cast in terms of acting, and what came is a mediocre movie with a spice that it doesn't have.
