This movie was really bad. The female lead was so masculine acting. It's like she didn't know how not to be a tomboy. All of her love scenes seemed like she was molesting a little boy or something. The chemistry was so bad. Thankfully, I could fast forward and just go past most of the more graphic parts... but the kissing was just not even believable.. nor the love declarations. There was nothing to any of this supposed love between her and the son. Was she so disgusted, really, by this strange script with her being the daughter of a man she was entwined with plus the stepsister of the son... that she really just flatlined in the humanity of the chemistry? Because there was nothing at all believable about any of this.

Strange script. Bissett acted well. The man playing her 2nd husband not as well as Bissett, but still good.

But the son and daughter in these roles? Not believable at all. Just off. Really bad movie because so much relied on a believable love of affair between them - and it was anything but.

It was a frightening & heartbreaking story of true love grown old with grown up children. So touching.

The acting was exceptional, especially by the older couple.

The whole movie is a mix of hilarious rebellion by older people against the imposition of restraints upon their wild adventure of falling and staying in love in freedom... amid concern for their wellbeing and safety being imposed upon them by those who love them too much.

It's a showcase of how safety stifles and suppresses the life out of love so that life becomes loveless and not worth living from the eyes of 2 romantics whose age doesn't diminish their bond.

Post apocalyptic regeneration. What compares? This became instantly one of my all time favorites. It is that good.

Good special effects. Great acting. Outstanding story. Somehow, it reminds me of the old classic movies in how the stories told in those classics resonate throughout all generations. And this is sci fi. It had every element of a great story or a legend. Plus, it had the hero and heroine elements. This story is not a copy of another script or story (at least not in my perception). It has all the gravitas of an original with plot twists that are not seen elsewhere. And a great ending.
