Politics aside, I genuinely did not expect this movie to be this good.
The casting is absolutely spot on every actor fits their role like a glove, selling the story without a single weak link.
The writing deserves praise as well, managing to balance sharp humor and clever puns with a storyline that never feels forced or sluggish. There's a clear love for the material that shines through in the smallest details, from the props to the subtle callbacks, showing a real commitment to quality.
The fight choreography is top tier and only gets more impressive as the movie ramps up, evolving from solid to downright spectacular. The gunplay is in a league of its own, easily some of the most inventive and jaw-dropping I've seen in years. As for the vehicular action, it reaches world-class status, delivering creative and satisfying sequences that keep the energy high without ever feeling repetitive.
If there's one area that fell a bit short, it would have to be the special effects, at times they felt merely average, especially considering today's industry standards.
All in all, though, this is an outstanding, silly, and action-packed ride that's absolutely worth your time.

Joker had the potential to be a groundbreaking film but falls short. The plot meanders aimlessly, failing to deliver on the build-up and leaves you underwhelmed. Despite this, Joaquin Phoenix's performance is undeniably superb.
The soundtrack and audio are true highlights, enhancing the film's atmosphere significantly, adding layers of emotion and tension, and the sound design immerses the audience in Arthur's deteriorating mental state.
However, these strong points can't fully compensate for the film's lack of cohesive direction, making it ultimately underwhelming.
Very disappointing to see something with such potential, ruined.

"IT" tries to revive Stephen King's horror classic but falters miserably. The writing is painfully mediocre, laden with corny dialogue that kills any chance of genuine scares. The acting is uniformly poor, with the young cast delivering forced and unconvincing performances that make it difficult to care about their characters or their fates.
The film's pacing is erratic, dragging in places where it should build tension. The narrative feels disjointed, failing to blend the horror and coming-of-age elements in a coherent manner. For fans of Stephen King's novel or horror enthusiasts in general, "IT" is a painful sit-through, failing to deliver on its promise.
