A tiring first half followed by a banger second half.
I could easily see the vision of Gareth Edwards very much. Like how he wants to explore the human emotions having the element of mutated dinosaurs as the main plot.
I really wished this had been a 3 hr film with more exploration of the world like Kingdom of the planet of the apes. But instead the film's just 2hrs and in that you just take a whole hour for just the world-building and character-building that too is not focused on hardcore emotions and just very childish and cliched.
Like the portions of Humour at the first half didn't work even for a bit and the scenes were dragged as hell like at a point u lose hope with the film. Even the mosasaurus sequence felt a little underwhelming.
But just after the interval, the film took a very exciting turn. They just introduced a mutated titanosaurus with such visual grandeur. I was just shook by the visual treat in that sequence. Wow. Brilliant. Then came the thrills and intensity. The film was so engaging like a edge-of-the-seat thriller. The emotional sequences felt good in the second half. The visuals were so amazing in the second half. The Cinematography was top-notch in the film. The classic score was great. The editing was good.
Thank god they remembered that colour palette exists in the second half atleast. Cause the yellow colour grading with blue and red palettes were a outstanding visual endeavour.
The acting performances were great most of the time and cliched and okayish some times. Simping for Scar Jo made the first half tolerable for me.
Better than Dominion. Can't be compared with any other film in the Jurassic universe.
If u ask me am I excited for the sequels, my answer is no.
If u ask me is it worth to view this film in the theatres, i would say just for the visuals you can watch. But still consider watching it in 2d cause 3d is very bad. I only wish they ban 3d. It makes the visuals dark as hell.
I still can't believe they thought they could outrun Superman and Fantastic Four.
The VFX was fine but still the T-Rex movement felt very bizarre. The screenplay should have been a lot better.
Just take like 4 years in building a great screenplay and storyline and making the film and then release it. Don't rush everything just for continuing the universe for some money-sake.

An outstanding film with an amazing execution fueled by peak Brad Pitt and peak cameos of real legends. Won't spoil it. Go watch it in the theatres. Birthday more wholesome.
The film is so entertaining even if you are not into F1 too.
This film impacted me so much at many levels being a fan of F1 in my childhood. After lockdown i have not been watching the sport much nowadays. But thing film really piqued my interest to dwell into that again.
A masterclass in cinematography by Claudio Miranda. Reunion with Joseph after Top Gun : Maverick. Marvellous camera work. The cockpit POVs and wide shots were outstanding. The goosebumps-inducing score of Hans Zimmer. Man cooked big in this film. Every epic scene got into a whole another level by this man's score. The sound design was outstanding. The editing was pitch perfect.
The film employs themes like Redemption & Legacy, Mentorship & Teamwork and Rivalry. Sonny is shown confronting past trauma to mentor Noah and Save Apex Gp.
This film also explores the complex bond between a veteran and a rookie.
The film has a pretty good narrative structure combining the both spectacle and substance which mirrors Maverick in balancing mind-blowing visuals with character journeys with emotional sequences.
The on-location filming of the real race tracks like Daytona, Monza, etc made this film more epic. Huge respect to Pitt and idris for completing the 4 months of racing prep from F3 to F2. They both nailed it. The minimal CGI in the film is a big reason for its success. Most scenes were practical filming during live events. Exceptional film man. Exceptional.
Javier Barden was fantastic in his role has ruben. Kerry Condon was outstanding.
Ahhh the freaking cameos 😭 😭 😭 🔥 🔥 🔥.
The Teamwork in the film was shown with such finesse. Be it the chaos part or the tow one. Everything was perfect.
Through goes Hamilton
Goosebumps after hearing this in the theatre. A legacy unfolded with that one line.
He raced with Ruben which means he raced with Senna
That's it Iam done. Iam already pumped up with adrenaline typing this. This dialogue, the amount of goosebumps i got from this dialogue. Peakkk theatrical experience. There's a tamil phrase we would say which goes like " piravi palan adanjiten " which means I got the fruit of my birth. After watching this dialogue, I felt like that lol.
My theatre roared for many scenes which elevated the scenes more.
Iam saying this with full heart. The final " He is Flying sequence " will be one of the great scenes in the car-race genre of films. Magnificent sequence.
The ending part was emotional and wholesome.
Brad Pitt I love youuuu. Who would believe that man is 61 years old? Amazing screen presence.
Just go watch F1 guys. Both the movie and the sport. And those who lost the sport in its midway like me, come on, let's start watching it again. Nice initiative by both F1 and apple for getting their own fields promoted.
Lewis Hamilton, i watched you and fell in love with Mercedes. Sorry now. This is my time to support the Antonelli. Mercedes all the way...
Kudos to the cast and crew of the film.
Hooked.
Must-watch in theatres.

An amazing film fueled by award-worthy acting by Dhanush and exceptional score and music with outstanding visuals.
First of all, this is my second Sekhar Kammula work. I have watched Fidaa a long time back in lockdown days and I remember loving the film until the foreign portions arrive. So after watching all the teasers, promos, songs bad trailers, i was 💯 sure this movie is gonna be a banger and oh boy how efficiently this film worked to me. Damn.
The writing of the film is so good. The dialogues are outstanding. Kudos to the writer. The direction was great. The screenplay was excellent but the intensity at some places could have been toned up a little. All the characters in the film was written exceptionally. The symbolism to Lord Shiva's beggar arc was exceptionally designed.
Coming to the acting performances, Rashmika Mandanna was outstanding as always. Nagarjuna was a surprise for me. I wasn't aware of what Nagarjuna could pull of if he was used correctly by the correct director. He killed it. Jim Sarbh was exceptional. He was top-notch. Bhagyaraj was unrecognizable. He was great for short role. Finally, there comes the acting legend Dhanush. D na was goated. I mean literally goated. Get that national award ready for the greatest. He lived as a beggar. It was very painful to watch. No other actor can do this role. Yeah I said it. Not even Kamal Haasan. Period. For all the trolls he got on social media after the audio launch speech, he literally shut down all of it by the masterclass of an acting. That dumpster sequences was mind-blowing. The character arcs of the films is a pure masterclass. Sekhar u freaking beauty!!!! The dubbing for Nag version could have been done better.
The emotional moments of the film weren't tear-shedding but worked very well. This film was very raw and hard to watch. The realism of the film is such a key factor to it.
The score and music by DSP was magnificent as always. Even though the song Poyiva Nanba was great, it was a hindrance to the film's realistic approach. It wasn't needed in the film. The comedy worked out well too.
The Cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy was marvellous. Each and every shot was splendid. The camera movements were fantastic especially in action sequences. The non-linear editing pattern was great. Yeah I understand that they really trimmed a 4 hr version to just 3 because of theatrical release. I would like to see the whole director's cut. Some editing choices felt a little bland.
Anyways, on the whole , this film is a must watch atleast just for Dhanush's mind-blowing performance. Peak D na. Peak Tollywood.
What Martin Scorsese said is absolutely true. People just come to chat and use phones in theatre. They don't even have patience for anything. Thank god i ain't like that.
