I love the show and only wish there were more seasons and longer episodes. A third season could deepen emotional arcs and resolve more mysteries, while extended runtimes would allow character nuance and resolve pacing issues. Other than that, the show is fantastic: emotionally charged, visually appealing, and consistently suspenseful.
The Secret Life of Amy Bensen is a well-crafted romance-thriller with strong leads, smart pacing, and compelling mystery. While short episodes sometimes limit depth, the central relationship and storyline more than make up for it. If you love one-season romances with a twist, this is a binge-worthy one-but be warned: it ends with you shouting, "More, please!"
