After having tried so many promising but lacking anime like I Parry Everything and isekais 1 through 9000, I'm grateful to have found an anime with amazing combat but a setting and power-level that's believable and not just OP aura farming. The MC is humble, but not a dense airhead. He's humble about his strength, but displays it when needed and in satisfying ways. The animation and fights are great, the swordplay is awesome to watch and not just blurry slash panels but also not some swing that cuts the whole screen or causes a storm. I'm not super huge on harems so seeing most side chatacters as girls is my only odd thing but even that isn't a big deal. It's a fun watch and I hope they make more. The outfits for two female characters are absolutely ridiculous though, which is even more frustrating now that I'm reading the manga and see they changed it so significantly.
