This film is both profound and remarkable in the way it dives into the depths of human emotions and psychology especially through the lens of inner visions and perception.

The main characters were finely crafted, and the actors delivered compelling performances, with the lead actress standing out for her exceptional portrayal.

The plot, narrative structure, and emotional layers are deeply engaging and immersive-so much so that I couldn't help but wonder: if a film like this were experienced in virtual reality, where you step fully into the protagonist's shoes, it would be nothing short of a legendary cinematic masterpiece.

Set design, costume choices, and direction all worked in harmony to pull you into the story's atmosphere, making you feel as though you were living the experience alongside the characters.

The music played a substantial role as well, beautifully aligned with the scenes and emotionally resonant throughout the film.

Stunning direction, breathtaking cinematography, a vivid journey through history and time this film delivers suspense, beauty, and intrigue in equal measure. The colors are rich, the set design and costumes are exquisite, the music is enchanting, and the story is thoroughly engaging.

This was my first Ukrainian film, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of artistry and creativity on display. I will certainly be exploring more Ukrainian cinema in the future.

The characters were well-developed, and the performances were highly effective and convincing across the board.

The one element that did not sit well with me was the inclusion of certain extreme lines that crossed into territory religiously inappropriate!

I wholeheartedly recommend it to audiences of all tastes.

This film is extremely bloody wildly and excessively so, far beyond what could be considered natural or necessary. I strongly advise against it for anyone sensitive to graphic violence or the sight of blood.

As for the horror element, it wasn't nearly as terrifying as it was simply gory. Personally, I have no interest in watching a sequel or any other film that relies on such exaggerated, irrational bloodshed to provoke a reaction.

That said, the direction was undeniably high-level. The visual design, costumes, and color palette were well-executed, and the closing sequence stood out as exceptional especially with its inclusion of illustrated pages from the book. The performances were also solid and believable.

In the end, though I'm generally a fan of horror and suspense, this is not the kind of film I enjoy. It simply doesn't align with my taste, despite its technical strengths.
