First, the plot is very interesting and eye-opening for the most unspoken stigmas attached to certain members of the LGBTIQA+ community. In particular, the Ladyboys. The sub-plot touched on a sensitive topic related to Ladyboys that most people in the community/writers usually dismiss or deem irrelevant.
Second, the main plot itself is rich. It focuses on the ever fluctuating emotions that women in love with other women often suppress. The plot is like a guide to how women should deal with their emotions and how certain issues that women in love with other women faces could be resolved. The cast embodied the emotions very well, and made the series emotional instead of one of those cliche GL web series that focuses only on LOVE! Overall, the crew did an amazing job. There weren't many settings, or the cast, but the story was well told and definitely felt by those who watched it!

First, if you truly enjoyed a story, you will remember how it began and how it ended, however, I struggle to remember the beginning or even the ending of The Loyal Pin. Or rather, should I say that there was no inciting event that grabbed my attention from the beginning. Most scenes felt dragged or unnecessary. I had to force myself to focus, that alone says a lot. Most characters felt redundant, meaning even without them, there wouldn't be any difference in the drama. Also, calling it a drama, feels far-fetched because there isn't much drama to look forward to. I have never read the novel, but the script itself it's without a doubt bland or rather all over the place. The scenes don't connect. One moment you find yourself liking the series, and within few seconds, you get reminded of why the viewers keep fluctuating. The good thing the director did was the cinematography/angles, perhaps also the setting/places where they shot the web series. Other than that, the director failed to direct the web series in a logical manner. I do appreciate the Thai culture representation, I strongly believe that that part was executed perfectly. I also do appreciate the cast, they honestly made the web series enduring. Overall, it is not an interesting series. I would recommend it only because I support the GL world, and the cast, even the crew for creating entertainment for the LGBTIQA+.
It is such an interesting movie. The plot twist was unexpected, especially the ending. The characters embodied their roles, considering the fact that their roles are generally demanding. The cinematography was beautiful and realistic. Overall, it was interesting, emotional, captivating, educational, and heartwarming. I highly recommend this movie to all group of people.
