Thunderbolts isn't your typical Marvel blockbuster. Instead of leaning on endless explosions and action, it delivers a story rooted in mental health, trauma and healing. It's raw, personal and deeply relatable, showing that the toughest battles are often the ones inside us.
The cast is phenomenal. Florence Pugh once again proves she's a powerhouse, carrying Yelena's journey with heart. Lewis Pullman is a standout. The chemistry between all the characters highlight the importance of friendship, asking for help and realizing none of us can do it alone.
The comedy is a miss sometimes, sometimes it hits. There are many new characters to relate to, but these are small flaws in trying something new. It's a reminder that even in darkness, there's always light at the end of the tunnel. It was also good to see Bucky finally get what he deserves, being an Avenger. I've always liked him.

The film falls into the trap of predictability, every death and plot point can be seen coming from a mile away. There's little to no jump-scare factor, which takes away the thrill a slasher should deliver. The main character spends too much time distracted by her crush (who also happens to be her enemy's boyfriend - so typical ) rather than focusing on the real danger, making her arc feel weak.
Unlike the strong, fearless energy we expect from a Fear Street lead, she comes across as timid and scared, while her best friend feels more fitting for the role. The killer's identity is painfully obvious and even the mother's tragic backstory is handled lazily, merely told through words instead of flashbacks.
Overall, it's a typical, underwhelming slasher that fails to live up to the Fear Street vibe.

Dracula Untold had everything going for it, a strong plot, visuals, a balance of action and emotion and most importantly, a cliffhanger that begged for a sequel. The concept itself was refreshing, portraying Dracula not as a pure villain but as someone who chose darkness to protect his kingdom from the Turkish threat.
Seeing Dracula in a positive light, driven by love and duty, gave the film a unique edge compared to typical vampire tales.
