Ive seen a lot of underdog to great movies and this was no different in premise. However, it hit close to home, the dynamics between father son, mother son and even brotherhood was so well displayed. JG has always been an actor you could rely on for real-expressive performances and he did the role such justice. While the cast may have been strayed a bit afar from what the characters actually looked like in real life, it was truly convincing. Good watch.

I have very little to no idea about the history of Ford and Ferrari and I have watched the movie in that manner. Bale and Damon's performances were surely the spotlight. The story was quite linear and thrilling yet I believe I wouldve had a better perspective if I had some idea of the stories and history of the two motor companies.

While Ive not yet read any one of Roald Dahl's works, I was convinced of the fact that the film was approached according to an avid reader. I found that aspect of it, well executed. At the beginning had a hard time focusing on the visuals and keeping up with what was being said. Quite marvelous work from the cast at the recitation aspect.

Not having read Dahl's work didnot give me THAT perspective on the film and "Poison" was quite difficult for me to conclude. Apart from that it was a good watch and for me, an introduction to Roald Dahls writing.
