Throughout my time spent watching this series, I teared up multiple times. I mean, how can you not sympathize with how the main characters are feeling? The main plot was very interesting and I couldn't stop watching, desperate to see how the story ends. The character development in this show was also quite nice to see. No amount of change will make me like Min Ju though, I hated her istg she got on my nerves every time she was on screen. My favorite character has got to be the grandma though. She said some things that actually really resonated with me and changed my perspective on aspects of my own life. Anyway, it's a pretty good series- I feel like majority of people who rate this bad are either upset that it's not BL or are upset that it has aspects of BL but if you're only judging it based off of that, is your mindset not also kind of weird/wrong?
Overall, I enjoyed this series a pretty fair amount. I will say though, the synopsis doesn't give enough insight as to what the series is actually about. There's actually way more that goes down in the series. I won't spoil it, but be ready for certain things like domestic abuse and grief; which aren't consistently displayed throughout the series, but are big parts of the plot. Normally I skip certain scenes in shows because it's just a long clip of the characters kissing something; do not do that while watching this, you *will* miss an important sentence. Every time I skipped I'd have to go back cause I'd be like "wait what just happened." It's a good series, especially for being Chinese (being they have censorship laws and whatnot) I'm glad it has a happy ending. If you don't watch the after-credits on the final episode you WILL miss this though and it'll be a sad ending.
- MAKE SURE TO STAY FOR THE AFTER CREDITS SCENE ON THE LAST EPISODE!!!

This show was genuinely an absolute joy to watch. When I first began watching it, I wasn't aware there were scenes after the end credits until like episode 4, so if you haven't watched it yet be sure to wait for/skip the credits for those scenes!
- The plot is honestly very heartwarming and cute, especially if you've had your own pets. I really sympathized with the feelings of loss, nostalgia, etc in this series.
- Both the main couple and side couple stories were so good. I admittedly took more interest in the side couple because I found it to be a more unlikely but cute romance. The main couple was to be expected, but I'm glad this series had a happy ending.
- As for the title of my review; I think it's really cool how the (what do you call the people who write these stories again? Authors? Directors? I don't know film vocab.) creator incorporated the stereotypes of dogs and cats into the story. It's again, to be expected, but it was nicely done in a way where it doesn't feel too awkward but you're still like, "ohh yeah, he was for sure a dog," y'now?
- At any rate, this is a really cute series and I highly recommend it. Honestly I'm surprised this BL isn't talked about as much, it deserves more love. </3 - Side Note: Twisting the plot around, two guys are in love with this one guy's dead reincarnated(?) pets...huh.
