Vindelander

I found this series absolutely riveting and it thoroughly deserves the high ratings delivered so far. The casting, production and filming are pretty much faultless but if I had to make a criticism it's that there was no need to introduce fabricated events to enhance the story imo.

There's enough material in the lead up, the accident and the aftermath to keep this a true account of the entire incident.

I'll watch it again at some point as it's that good.

Just finished bingeing all of season 6 which is outstanding and keeps up the very high standard set in all the previous ones.

Every episode builds in excitement towards the conclusion and there is no drop in the storyline at any point. As usual casting, direction and script are impeccable and whilst I miss Nicola Walker, her successor Sinead Keegan, is fantastic and there is continuity from Sanjeev Bhaskar who delivers his usual understated yet credible performance.

It's brought to a twisty but satisfying end as with all Chris Lang's creations and I really hope that there will be more to come. In the same category as Line Of Duty although I think it's actually superior.

Thoroughly enjoyed this and was disappointed to find that Series 2 is not yet available in the UK.

A cracking story that keeps up the momentum right to the last episode delivered by a well-chosen cast who were all very credible. Lots of twists and turns with a not excessive amount of violence. All in all it stands comparison with other top series such as The Bridge and The Killing.

I found it as part of Channel 4's "Walter Presents" offering so don't really understand why the second season ( filmed in 2022) isn't on the same link. Looking forward to seeing the conclusion when it's released !
