The franchise needs to be stabbed to death now. Stupid plot, some scenes that are so contrived and stupid they have u screaming at the TV, and (sorry) but a certain lead actor's over plastic face is way too distracting.

Why are there so many 9 and 10 star reviews of this series?! It's exactly as I expected it to be...cheesy, predictable, but generally quite watchable for most people. Nowhere near as good as many reviews would lead you to believe.

....What a great first 15 mins, what a wonderful character Buster was, what a shame he wasn't seen again for the majority of the movie. If you want to really enjoy this movie, just watch the first story...the rest is all downhill.

Loved the first few murder/mystery episodes, sadly it went downhill into a silly supernatural 'kill the boogyman' finale. Final episode such a disappointment with the big showdown between the good and bad guy...over too quickly with little tension or excitement. Shame.

Season 1 True Detective, different actors, different story, different class....absolutely amazing.....the following seasons average in comparison.

Wonderful movie made me long to be back at school being taught by Mr Keating, reliving those wasted years. That ending...oh, that ending....stays in your mind long after the credits and beautiful music has ended. Thank you Robin, thank you.

Thought the Harry Potter franchise might be too childish so gave them a miss, but saw this final one as a standalone and thought it was fantastic. Went back to the beginning, with my children, and saw the full series and this was a perfect finale....had emotion, intrigue, action, and a great final standoff. Didn't read the books, so all those negative reviews slating it for not following word for word....who cares?!

One of those rare movies that angers me....Started well, then just turned to rubbish...absolute pretentious nonsense.

Great cinematography, scenery, and acting...but, pointless story that goes nowhere. One great 10m scene at the ranch where you think 'ok now it's going somewhere' then it just...doesn't.
