He acts like he's God's gift to the world, he makes the character out to be uncaring, with no empathy, no understanding, no kindness. He is horrible in this role. He acts like a mob boss instead of an FBI agent. He needs to be replaced and whomever cast him in this role needs to be fired for extremely poor taste and bad judgment. The only reason I continue to watch it is because I love the other characters/actors. But McDermott really has to go. I don't know how much longer I can keep watching with him in the show. I really used to love this show . . . Now I have to talk myself into watching it.
