'Plebs' follows Marcus (Tom Rosenthal), his slave, Grumio (Ryan Sampson), and his best friend, Stylax (Joel Fry), as they try to make a living in Ancient Rome. Most of the story revolves around trying to make deals with their Landlord (Karl Theobald), their boss, Flavia (Doon Mackichan), or the various love interests throughout the show.

Interesting take on the idea of Rome in the BCE era. Everything is shot and acted as if they are modern, but with a more historically accurate setting. The set pieces are solid and the acting is well done, but some of the scripts leave plot holes and questions. Overall, a binge worthy show with some well explored character arcs!

Worth a watch!

After the sudden, accidental death of their father, siblings Andy (Billy Barratt) and Piper (Sora Wong) are sent to live with a foster mother, Laura (Sally Hawkins). But, when strange things begin to happen and Laura's other foster child, Oliver (Jonah Wren Phillips), starts exhibiting strange behaviors, they find a sinister plot to 'Bring Her Back'.

As the sophomore film to 'Talk To Me', expectations were set and met with this horror film! The sets were excellently shot and the acting was well done. The makeup effects were visceral, especially in the third act, making it a truly unique work. The story wraps up to a satisfying conclusion, even if the ending seemed somewhat rushed.

Definitely worth a watch!

'I'm Sorry' follows married couple Andrea (Andrea Savage) and Mike (Tom Everett Scott) in their suburban lives in California. With regular wacky and whimsical interactions with their child, Amelia (Olive Petrucci), friend Brian (Gary Anthony Williams), and Andrea's coworker Kyle (Jason Mantzoukas), the life of a writer and mother can be exhausting.

Decently shot and acted, with some great scenes of comedy. The drawback is that some of the comedy seems forced and doesn't happen 'naturally'. The one liners and slapstick scenes of goofy happenstance are somewhat amusing, but other jokes flop flat.

Worth a watch.
