- For the screenplay. A truthful, honest film with great strength and integrity.
- For its cinematic humour.
- By a complete coincidence our top three films have strong women at the centre of their stories - women fleeing from repression, all three lose and then find a son. We would like to honour the three fine actresses who portrayed these extraordinary women.

- After enjoying a variety of fresh visions, we decided to choose the film in which we found eccentric characters driven by hilarious and witty circumstances; unforgettable and strongly entertaining scenes; unusual performances and brave usage of narrative elements, all this rhythmically orchestrated in one cinematic experience.

- For an outstanding and unpretentious way of dealing with the subject. For the simplicity of execution, but also for the very complex performances of the actors, which enabled real persons to appear on screen.

- The direction of this film based on actual events draws you in and creates a mesmerising, shocking, and profoundly moving experience.
- A touching dramatic story and a universal challenge that deals with the difficult circumstances of children deprived of security and stability due to the behaviour of adults, men in particular. In this protest against violence, it is only by responsible actions that evil can be overcome and a glimpse of hope can appear for families in distress.
- For an extraordinary documentary about the daily struggle of women, their successes and failures. A true "kick-off" in the fight for gender equality.
- For his bold description from inside of a daily drama too often considered as trivial.
- For its formal qualities at the service of a story full of poetry and humour.
- For a film in which we saw a clearly drawn difference between the inside world of the character and the outside situation in society; a film breaking boundaries and creating a world where you feel unbearable passiveness and you question the possibility of the existence of such a reality; a film whose director maintained her precise and consistent perception of this reality from beginning to end.
- Through the outstanding performance of the leading actress, the director portrays the struggle of a courageous woman. In spite of rejection, she is determined to give her existence a new start reunited with her son. The well-structured screenplay leads the audience to believe in a positive outlook for her life.
