The film describes in a cool and very precise way the everyday life of a cleaning woman in a big airport. It shows many routine gestures but also has a sharp look for psychological details and for social differences in the airport. Several side stories are started but remain open. The camera work is excellent, and the performance of the female protagonist is outstanding.

The jury was very impressed by how this simple coming-of-age story tells so much about the everyday violence and fear in Georgia during a time of turmoil. In stark contrast, all this is portrayed in a poetic style.

The jury would like to give a Special Mention to this film for the courage of its director and its actress in exploring sensitive issues such as sex and spirituality in contemporary China.

For its empathetic portrayal of two couragerous and self-reliant girls engaging with their society in a time of change. It seems to announce some kind of rebirth for Georgian cinema.

A travelling salesman for glass eyes checks into a rather downtrodden hotel and is assigned the room 606, where many strange events and adventures are happening to him. The film tells a surrealistic story which is inspired by observations of reality. It describes an Eastern European atmosphere by innovative and experimental filmic means. The film has a humorous dimension; it has warmth and a sense for the unreal and the real at the same time.

The jury was deeply moved by the sharp portrayal of the harshness of modern Chinese society, where love doesn't exist and a woman struggles to survive in it. It shows that women always suffer more when life is tough.

A human being, only visible as a silhouette, wants to escape from the frightening routine of office work, then boards a train to the mythical destination of "Soeng" after flying as a small figure through the air of the office world. The film is dreamlike and very fascinating due to its mode of graphic representation. It is full of pictorial inventions. The camera movements are especially well-coordinated with the music.
