He appeared in three films that depicted political/social conflicts in Latin American nations in the 1980's: Au coeur de feu (1983), Salvador (1986) and Romero, le sang de l'archevêque (1989), with the latter two films portraying the same events on El Salvador and the killing of Archbishop Oscar Romero.
