She was the voice of Minnie Mouse from 1986 until her death in 2019.

Met her husband Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey Mouse, at a voice session for Totally Minnie (1988).

Her voice acting mentor was Alan Young.

She is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

She admitted in an interview that after Wayne's death in 2009 it was hard for her to go into the recording studio and record with the new voice actor Bret Iwan cause she was deeply saddened by Wayne's death.
