A Navajo, he came to acting as a young man. But he soon got tired of
the roles that were "offered" to Native Americans, exclusively ethnic
and, when set in present days, generally dealing with protecting a
burial ground from constructing, building contractors, crooked estate
agents...etc. He seems to have left the film industry and has become a
renowned designer and manufacturer of Native jewelry - around
Albuquerque, Gallup, Santa-Fe, and an entrepreneur, employing Native
craftspeople.
