Rick Famuyiwa est né le 18 juin 1973 aux États-Unis. Il est producteur et réalisateur. Il est connu pour Dope (2015), The Mandalorian (2019) et Le Wood (1999). Il est marié avec Gienita Mosley.
Rick has a degree in Cinema-Television (Production) and Cinema-Television (Critical Studies), both from USC. He considers his time at the Sundance Lab to be the equivalent of grad school.
