Ian Haugland

Joey Tempest was inspired to write A Mother's Son in memory of Ian's mother, who had recently died.

I had a girlfriend (Marita Isaksen) when Europe had the international breakthrough and if there is something I regret, it's not being fair with her and playing it straight. There were a lot of girls on the side. Finally we went separate ways, but we found each other again, and today we have three children.
