Anandhi got her first audition with Prabu Solomon because of a selfie. While shooting for Poriyaalan (2014), a manager told her that Prabu Solomon was looking for a lead actress for his next film. So, she immediately took a few selfies and sent them to him. She got a call back on the same day.
