Lovers' Quarrel

Luke Rogers delivers on this ball achingly tragic movie following the always doomed relationship of John and Peggy. John is sever chronic alcoholic and is determined to make amends. This is the driving force and is what carries the audience through this tale of lost love. The spanner in the works is of course Hank who presumably gets it on with the selfish Peggy. The way in which these characters fight their emotions and each other will bring tears to the eyes of many. I pity any man who has to watch this film as it brings home the truth of relationships, alcoholism and your partner having an affair. A domestic masterpiece waiting to revealed to masses and remembered as British classic.
