monster A.I.
It's Halloween in Gotham and the monsters are out to play. Recent escapees Solomon Grundy and Silver Banshee are blending in with the other costumed party goers and causing mayhem. They escape from Nightwing and Green Arrow with help from Scarecrow. They are on a mission. Commissioner Gordon seeks help from Cyborg after Scarecrow and Banshee steal an A. I. Grundy is stealing a giant battery for Joker. Batman spots a signal from computer game designer Gogo Shoto who is being kidnapped by Clayface.
This is slightly better than Animal Instincts, but not by much. It's usually better with the Joker anyways. This grouping is less gimmicky. The story does feel like written by an A. I. as much as being about an A. I. That may be a fill-in-the-blank situation. The virtual world is rather silly. They actually brought out Fatman. It's alright.

Presenting star-studded cast, but ultimately just the usual straightforward affair.
Those who have watched animation series or played video games recently would be familiar to the voices in Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem. These are veteran actors who do the characters justice and the movie has the advantage of bringing them together for one spectacle. However, the plot is bland and lacking intensity of other DC animations.
Joker assembles his group of misfits to take over Gotham, while Batman is being helped by other vigilantes to stop the villainous act. It doesn't attempt to deliver thrill or alternate personalities like the previous animations and it definitely opts for a lighter tone. The mild vibe is clearly geared for younger audience with bits of humor as well as less visceral action.
The dubbing is definitely in high quality. Batman and Joker resemble their counterpart on the games, it might be slightly jarring to hear them in more vanilla fashion. Each of the superheroes, and also villains, is presented with their typical gimmicks, it's a nice showing for the troupe but it doesn't develop their characters much.
Animation is passable, it doesn't have the pace or well-choreographed fighting like Assault on Arkham. It does get the job done and some of the more futuristic details are appreciated. The action scenes consist of mostly one on one fight between the opposing forces, it's done pretty well albeit might be repetitive later on.
Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem is an average animation boosted by its great production on voice acting. It does entertain, but for fans wanting heavier intrinsic or presentation it may be a bit underwhelming.

Entertaining & Well-Paced!
'Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem' is a yet another impressive addition to Batman's legendary collection. This one's an entertaining & well-paced action extravaganza!
'Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem' Synopsis: The Joker is aided in his Halloween quest to render modern technology useless and take over Gotham City by Solomon Grundy, Silver Banshee, Clayface and Scarecrow.
Batman & The Joker's rivalry continues with 'Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem'. Although, there is nothing new in this tale, its a regular good versus bad story. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but there is no newness as for as the narrative goes.
Heath Corson's Screenplay offers much scope for some kicks action & also some twisted subplots. Butch Lukic's Direction is good. Graphics are awesome. Kevin Riepl's Score is super.
Vocal-Performances are note-worthy! Roger Craig Smith as Batman, is husky & tough enough. Troy Baker does justice in his portrayal of The Joker. Khary Payton as Cyborg, gets some terrific moments to perform & he does well. Chris Diamantopoulos as Green Arrow, Will Friedle as Nightwing & Yuri Lowenthal as Red Robin, are excellent. Fred Tatasciore as Solomon Grundy, is first-rate.
On the whole, 'Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem' works!

Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts... but with another bunch of random villains
The same creative team behind the awful Animal Instincts-director Butch Lukic, writer Heath Corson, and composer Kevin Riepl-comes back with this so-called sequel Monster Mayhem, which is really just the same exact movie recycled, only with a different lineup of villains.
Last time it was all animal-themed bad guys, now the excuse is Halloween. As a forgotten episode from some mediocre cartoon show, maybe it would be passable. But as a movie? It's a total waste of time.
Everything's just as weak as in the "first one," but now they also throw in a character (not a superhero, not a villain) who's even more random, annoying, and utterly pointless-which somehow manages to make this one even worse. A soulless copy of something that was already terrible.

Batman Unlimited Monster Mayhem: More kiddie family Batman action
Alike Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts we see Batman and various other DC heroes facing off against another random villian team up in very kiddie friendly action set in a futuristic alternate universe.
This time The Joker leads Scarecrow, Silver Banshee, Solomon Grundy & Clayface in a plot to take over the world using a virus that renders electronic devices useless.
Much alike the first this is not a diehard Batman outing and more like a feature length Saturday morning cartoon. It however does have it's moments and is take your brain out entertainment at it's core.
One thing that does always bother me is Solomon Grundy, I adore the character he's freakin awesome so why is it that everytime he's in one of these things he's the comedic relief?
Batman Unlimited is one for the kids and one for huge Batman fans, but nobody in between.
The Good:
Batman rides a mechnical dinosaur, enough said
The Bad:
Why do they always make Solomon Grundy a comedy character?
Very "Kiddie"
Things I Learnt From This Movie:
I don't remember Clayface being able to do half of that
Solomon Grundy should be ripping heads off not eating ice cream and playing hide and seek *Sadface*
