Worth a try

Like many I was on the fence about this game, i always liked the medal gear games even though I was never a die hard fan. Nevertheless I've always respected Kojima and I wanted to try the game but I heard people calling it a "walking simulator" and seeing more gameplay I was starting to get put off by the game. I'm the type of person who likes to go out of their comfort zone so I picked it up I'm about 30 hrs In and I'm loving it so far. I understand why some people think it's boring but for me it was like a breath fresh air it's like something you've never played before. If you're the type of player who likes long thought provoking games this is for you.

30 years as a gamer, probably best game ever played

Along with The Witcher 3, Zelda Ocarina of time, the first Red Dead Redemption and Final Fantasy 7 (the original) this goes directly to my top 5 list. An absolute masterpiece

Not for all, but incredible for some.

Pure zen for some people, perhaps boring for others. Fantastic storytelling all around.

Say what you want about Death Stranding, it's easily one of the most adventurous and daring games of the decade.

It's not perfect, it's not straight to the point, it's a tad frustrating at times, but it's 100% Hideo Kojima.

Death stranding is a creative game with great actors and a great story. I love the gameplay it's different from other games these days. It's beautiful to look at the landscape of the world. It's unlike anything you played before.

Mads Mikkelsen has admitted in the past that he's at the very least a casual gamer, and broadly considers Kojima to be "the master" of the craft. When Kojima approached him for the role, he didn't even have to consider it. The relationship also goes both ways, as Kojima considers Mikkelsen to be the greatest actor alive and is a dream come true to work with him.

Gaffes
During the presidential speech at the end of the game you can see Sam wearing orange. You see the back of his head with his pony tail. Then later on Sam is wearing a different outfit and near the wall before he walks out.
