I Ship It

What a nice surprise! I only watched it for David Witts, and I didn't expect to like it. But it was SO sweet, and yes, cheesy AF, but it's a romcom musical. What do people expect? I'd just wish it hadn't been cancelled mid-season. I would've preferred it to actually have an ending.

This show both sucks and blows. It is just garbage. I can't think of anything good except some of the camerawork was decent.

Idk who the main actor is that plays Ella but she's pretty terrible at both acting and singing, which killed the whole show for me. Really wanted to give this one a try, but it's like a bad knock off of glee meets new girl. Not surprising that it didn't last long as none of the main actors bring much life to an already uninteresting topic. It always baffles me how stuff like this gets made amongst all the other far more creative ideas floating around Hollywood. All that to say, there's no sane person with an ounce of good taste who would find even an ounce of enjoyment in this horrible show. The high reviews must be from cast members or friends of the creator.

The profanity in Episode 2 ruined what might have been a clean, decent comedy. When are writers going to get it that as soon as you throw vulgarity in a show is shows the audience of a lack of writing skills AND the shoe will go downhill after that.

This is a web series and the total run time for a "season" (ignoring credits and recaps) is about 2 hours.This is a musical series where people burst into song without anyone else hearing them (most of the time) and it mostly works. If this is too much for you to accept, you'd best skip it.

Season one is about the lead characters forming a band and it mostly works as the ongoing singing fits in with the overall direction the story is headed. I'd give it a standalone score of 7.

Season two carries over only 3 characters from season one and the events of season one may as well never have happened. The second story line revolves around a the making of a TV show and I found the music to be intrusive in this story. I give the second season a 5 and that might be generous.
