Too Late

In 2019, Jamel Lajuan Jackson released "Too Late: Director's Cut", digitally remastered with improved visual and sound effects, and with numerous revisions to the 2016 original film. The more noticeable differences between The Director's Cut and the original version include: -The Director's Cut is Black & White, while the original is in color -Adding voiceover narration from the lead actor Christopher Lee Akens (Anthony)

• Replacing inserts of the dripping sink with inserts of the alarm clock at the opening of the film

-Making the argument stronger between Anthony and sister at start of film compared to the original -The inciting incident when Anthony finds out his sister has to be pay tuition within days or be forced to dropout of college is cut short and saved for flashback at end of film -Some inserts are replaced in the dice game scene -The conversation between Anthony and Billy is broken up between them and the inserts of the Police Officer walking up on them to help build suspense -Suspenseful music and effects are added during the police interrogation scene -Voiceover from Christopher Lee Akens (Anthony), is added to the police interrogation scene -The ending scene where Anthony gets shot by the police is slowed down for better effect -We deleted scenes of showing the expressions of Billy and Officer Marks after the shooting -We replaced lasting insert shot with Anthony dead from bullet wounds with another angle -Shaun Hillman is added to the Director's Cut as an Additional Editor
