Atmospheric, But the Acting Falls a bit Short

There seem to be an endless number of found-footage, ghost hunter movies out there right now, and this is one. The acting ranges from just bad to gratingly annoying (the host character, in particular). They are a group of 3 investigators looking into the haunting of a remote home even the owners abandoned on the first night. They interview people who have rented the home subsequently and left prematurely, and all have the same story of noises and figures appearing/disappearing. The investigation begins at night with them tipping their hand that they don't believe in hauntings and they set up several fake scares. Then the house turns up the volume.

Don't bother with this film

The concept was just ok for a found footage film (basically a group of phony ghost hunters who stay in a haunted house). The acting is downright atrocious. The production quality is also amateurish. The scares a few and far between. Don't watch this one.
